Lamborghini Countach

Out of ALL the supercars that have been built and EVER will be built, the Lamborghini Countach will always be my all time favourite. I remember first seeing it in movies like cannon ball run with two sexy women (one was daisy duke from memory?) and then in cannon ball fever when it skips across the water. Ahhh the sound this gorgeous car makes…

It’s the basicness of the Countach that I love so much. Think about it, they’ve gone for aerodynamics in a pretty simplistic manner ie low to the ground in the shape of a wedge. Ok aerodynamics out of the way what next? Power and bucket loads of it! 353hp! So now we’ve got a powerful aerodynamic(well rudamentry but it works) car, what else is needed to make it a super car? That’s right, big fat tyres and a light weight chassis! Check and check, being for the most part fibreglass, the Countach is relatively light and has big fat tyres up back so as to get the power down to the ground!
